Codes of 35 engg colleges changed
Pune: Engineering degree course aspirants have been advised
to rely only on the college codes listed by the Directorate
of Technical Education (DTE) on its website while filling
their online option form under the centralised admission
process (CAP).
This is mainly because the institute codes of 35 engineering
colleges,including 15 in and around Pune,two in Mumbai,one
in Kharghar and three in Nagpur, have been changed from
academic year 2010-11.Many of these colleges have become
a part of the newly-established integrated campuses, DTE
S K Mahajan told TOI on Friday.
The change is reflected in the final list of seat distribution
for colleges, which was posted on the DTEs official we
b s i t e (www.dte.org.in/fe2010) on Friday a day after
the process for submission of the online option form started
on July 29.The process is to continue till August 2.
