Admissions to med, para med colleges over
Ahmedabad: Admission to 690 seats in open category of government and self-financed medical and para-medical colleges was finished on Thursday. However, 134 seats in reserved category have yet to be filled.
The admission in the local quota of open category at Surat Municipal Medical College ended at 79.32 per cent. In Bhuj Medical College, it ended at 79.98 per cent, Karamsad Medical College (81.53 per cent), Government Dental College in Ahmedabad (84.75 per cent), Ahmedabad Municipal Medical College (76.67 per cent). There are 198 seats in the open category still lying vacant across several dental colleges in the state.
In Scheduled Caste (SC) category of medical, 25 seats, in Scheduled Tribe (ST), eight seats and in Socially and Educationally Backward Class (SEBC), 101 seats have not been filled up yet. In SC category of dental, 41 seats and in SEBC, 151 seats are lying vacant. |
