CET seat selection may be delayed further
Bangalore: Seat selection for CET 2010 engineering courses
is likely to be delayed further. The process was supposed
to have begun on July 7. With seat matrix likely to be
announced on Monday, as per rules, there should be four-day
gap between announcement of seat matrix and commencement
of seat-selection process. According to sources, the AICTE
is yet to renew permission of many engineering colleges
in the state, making it difficult for the technical education
department to draw up seat-matrix.
