Eligibility Criteria :
He/She must have completed age of 17 years at the time
of admission or will complete the age on or before
31st December of the year of his/her admission to the
1st year Course and is an INDIAN NATIONAL.
A candidate must have passed the Higher Secondary Examination
or the Indian School Certificate Examination
equivalent to 10+2 Higher Secondary Examination ( after
a period of 12 years of study) the last
two years of study with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and
any other elective subject with English at a level
not less than the core course for English as prescribed
by the National Council for Education Research and
Training or equivalent qualification as prescribed in
the Veterinary Council of India - Minimum Standards
of Veterinary Education –Degree Course (B.V.Sc.
& A.H) Regulations, 1993. OR
Candidates who have passed the B.Sc.
examination from a recognized University with not less
than two of the following subjects -
Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany/ Zoology), and
has passed the earlier qualifying examination
with the following subjects - Physics, Chemistry, Biology
and English.
To be eligible for appearing in entrance examination,
the candidates must have passed the qualifying Examination
obtaining not less than 50% of the aggregate marks in
Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.
In respect of candidates belonging to the SC/ST or other
special category of students as specified by
the Government from time to time, marks required at the
qualifying examination shall be 10% less than that
prescribed for general category.

Scoring and Negative Marking:
Each item carries 3 marks. For each
correct response the candidate will get 3 marks. For each
incorrect response one mark will be
deducted from the total score. No deduction from the total
score will, be made if no response is
indicated for an item in the answer Sheet.
Syllabus :
The question papers for the Examination shall be based
on a common minimum syllabus drawn from syllabi
taught in different State Boards (XI + XII), CBSE.
