Computer Centre
Indira has state-of-the art computer labs on leased line
VSNL access to the internet. 250 pentium computer clients
are connected to two powerful Compaq Proliant ML 350 dual
CPU servers. The computer network operates on windows
NT / UNIX / LINUX platforms. Indira is a pioneer in pune
in implementing server based technology using thin clients,
using top of the range CITRIX Metaframe software.
Classrooms, Laboratories
Modern classrooms and comfortable furniture which helps
to concentrate and make the learning process more effective
Library
The library is stocked with various books for reference
and general reading.
Library is spread over a 180sq.m. area. This is one of
the best information resource centers in the region and
has over 7551 books and 873 IT titles, 19 scientific and
technical periodicals, 399 CDs. The library also subscribes
to specialized journals, both Indian and Foreign. It is
an institutional member of the British Council Library.
Social Functions, Co-Curricular Activities
Various programs are conducted to enhance the spirit of
caring and sharing and to develop the dignity of labor.
Extracurricular activity is another area where ICS Regular
cultural programmes are conducted on campus, allowing
for cross-cultural exchanges of skills and ideas, and
facilitating positive social interaction among the students.
Students and faculty also serve the neighboring villages
and towns in a number of ways, providing community support.
All efforts are made at Indira College of science in providing
every possible amenity to students on campus.
Gym & Sports Facility
The College has a modern state-of-the-art gymnasium to
take care of the physical fitness of the students. Various
sports activities give all round physical development
and recreation to the students. The talented players are
given special guidance and coaching to become good sportsperson.
