Introduction
Dayananda Sagar Institutions (DSI) has been into education

courses through its colleges at a sprawling campus in
Bangalore.

Courses offered :
Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) (3 years)
Bachelor of Business Management (BBM)
Course Duration :
It is a 3 years course having 6 semesters.
Eligibility :
A candidate should have passed PUC / 10+2 or equivalent
with mathematics or Commerce subjects.
A
citizen of India who has passed PUC / 10+2 Examination
of the State Board or any Recognised Universities
of India or abroad as equivalent through 10+2 pattern
of education obtaining 50% of marks in
aggregate of all the subjects.
A
student must have 75% of attendance in each semester in
all the theory papers.
A
pass in PUC (10+2) or equivalent is the minimum eligibility
for admission.
Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) :
Course Duration :
Minimum Duration: 3 Years Maximum Duration: 6 Years
Eligibility :
10+2 or its equivalent with Maths as a distinct subject
or
10+2 or its equivalent without Mathematics as distinct
subject students will have to register for MTE-03 and
CIC in 1st Semester of BCA.
or
10+2 vocational stream in Computer Techniques / Applications,
or its equivalent, without Maths as a distinct
subject. This category student will have to 'register
for MTE-03 in the first semester of BCA.
Fees Structure :
Rs. 11,100/- Per Semester + Rs. 2,100/- MTE-03 + Rs.
9,900/- for CIC for non-maths students .

DSI with 1050 systems, student information system (SIS)
and several digital classrooms was one of the first educational

DSI graduates looking for employment close to graduation
are placed at campus interviews with the assistance of
our own placement cells. DSI’s success could be
seen from the placement records showing intense improvement
in recent years.

Laboratories :
Form an important part of the learning / teaching process

The labs are state of the art and match the needs of all
disciplines and sub specialties.
An interesting feature of the labs is that one can see
the evolution of each department with the labs having
a full range of equipment that reflect the inception to
the current trends under each specialty.
Sports :
A cricket field, tennis court, basket ball and volley
ball court exists in the campus, apart from a host of
other facilities for indoor and outdoor games. Physical
education teachers plan and execute selection and training
of the right teams, demonstrate and share the intricacies
to ensure that games teach team building as much
as derive satisfaction of achieving success on the field
through skills and sweat.
Theater :
Art, culture, drama, dance, music, ballet, singing and
other forms bring out creativity of an individual. The
colleges encourage students to have clubs that can act
as a forum to plan for training and performances.
An amphitheatre within the campus serves as an excellent
venue for these events.

in the campus. 40,000 volumes in this library represent
a good and well-researched collection of top quality books.

all parts of the world are well stocked with early back
reference indexing facility
The library annex is more modern and ensures new features
adding more space and gives an added ambience.
Computers with hi-speed internet facilities and photocopying
facilities make up for good add on features in the library
complex that is manned by professionally qualified librarians.
Accommodation / Food :
Hostels :
Separate hostels are provided for boys and girls situated
within the campus. This consists of neat rooms and dormitories,
good toilet facilities and all the comfort that students
seek to live in a hygienic atmosphere. The facilities
also include well - ventilated reading rooms and television.
Mess :
A central mess -separate for males and females- serves
the needs of students staying in the hostels. This mess
is managed by a committee of students on cost sharing
basis with the college management offering required back
up support for efficient running of the mess.
Dental Clinics :
Students and faculty who need mouth care can visit the
Dental Clinics which are part of the Dental College in
the main campus.
Transport Facilities :
A fleet of buses and vans are available to all the students
commuting between colleges and the campus. Transport facility
is provided to transport students to camps organized outside
the campus.
Communication Center :
This centre will have high-end computers with supporting
software, color printers, color photocopying machine and
a photographer / videographer Student volunteers, specially
selected and trained to act as special runners will also
respond and assist visitors coming into the campus for
campus visit.
