The total duration of the engineering course is four years. The first two years of the course is conducted at ICAS and the remaining two years at Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE), Andrews University, I.I.T Chicago, RUSS College of Engineering, The University of Missouri - Kansas City, St. Cloud State University, USA, North Dakota State University, USA, Deakin University in Australia or at the City University, London, UK, Lancaster University, UK, University of Leicester, UK, Sheffield Hallam University, UK. The Degree will be awarded by one of these Universities after the successful completion of the course at any of these Universities. Students opting for Architecture Engg. & Aviation Engg. are required to take a transfer after first year. The course is compatible with most of the US Universities; students can take transfer to any other University.

The academic year at ICAS is divided into two Semesters. Each Semester is of 16 weeks duration. During the first semester the students of all the branches of engineering study common subjects. Adequate importance is given to English, Basic Science and Humanities during the entire period of two years at ICAS as required by the foreign Universities.
